I can remember being taken out for lunch and saying to me "Can you attend lessons to reduce your accent?" Also, "When you're on a talk show, how can you not be less humorous and loud?". I received a lot of crap about my voice, and I tried. I did my best to change however it was the way I spoke. Thanks to God, my octaves decreased as I got older. Today, I am enthralled to see a 16-year-old come up and mimics me.Boxing is about fighting your fears. It's about staying strong. Floyd Mayweather could be punched in a clean way, such as a shot in the middle of his body and he'd not hesitate. I know what he is doing. (Who talked about Don Cornelius watching her dancingand observing her dancing]: Don Cornelius didn't want to watch me dance - I was doing hip-hop which was something that was not known to Californians. They were only aware of locking and popping, which is why they were not interested in hip-hop dancing. Don was like, "No, no, no. You're a girl. I thought "What?" This is so strange. It was really bizarre.
