Tracy Spiridakos

Tracy Spiridakos, a Canadian actress from Canada. She appeared in the Teletoon children's show Majority Rules as Becky Richards. from 2009-2010. From 2009 to 2010, she was a star as Charlotte Matheson (Charlie) on the NBC series Revolution, a post-apocalyptic science-fiction show. She was nominated to an Saturn Award as Best Actress on TV. Annika Johnson played her character in the A&E television drama Bates Motel. Spiridakos is a regular on the NBC drama Chicago P.D. since 2017. in the role of Detective Hailey Upton. Spiridakos was the daughter of restaurant owner George Spiridakos who both were born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She has two siblings. The family relocated to her father's hometown, Skala, Greece south of Sparta, a few years after she was born, and returned to Canada in 1992. She is strongly connected to her Greek family and speaks fluent Greek. Spiridakos began acting when she was in junior high school. She later went to the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. She was a graduate of Oak Park High School in Winnipeg in 2000. Spiridakos moved to Vancouver in 2007 to pursue acting, and in a matter of weeks, she landed her first TV role that was a tiny part on Supernatural. The actress worked on television for the next few years, landing parts on Psych, The L Word, Hellcats and Bionic Woman. Spiridakos was a part of the TV movie Goblin and also in the web-based show Mortal Kombat: Legacy. She also appeared on Being Human, as Brynn McLean was the werewolf. In 2009, the actress won her first starring part in Majority Rules! Canada, where she played 15-year old Becky Richards. In 2011, she made her debut as a feature film with Rise of the Planet of the Apes. She also directed Kill for Me, a low-budget thriller written by Michael Greenspan. The film featured Donal Logue, Katie Cassidy, and was directed by Michael Greenspan. Spiridakos played Sammi's character on Rags (2012) The Nickelodeon original movie. Then, she was offered a lead part on the NBC TV series Revolution as Charlotte "Charlie" Matheson, an aspiring survivalist living in an unimaginative future society. She auditioned while watching her pilot in Los Angeles. Spiridakos filmed the pilot in Atlanta and the first season in Wilmington. Her performance in the debut season of the series was nominated for a Saturn Award as Best Actress on television. But she was unable to win to the actress from Fringe, Anna Torv. The series' second season was produced in Austin, Texas.
