Paula Faris, an American journalist, was
previously a television correspondent at ABC News. Her tenures as co-anchor on
Good Morning America Weekend (2014-2018) as well as co-host on The View
(2015-2018) are famous. Prior to this, she hosted World News Now as well as
America This Morning. After graduating, she worked in several
communications-related jobs including an operations position at Mills/James
Productions in Columbus, Ohio. The position she held was in sales for radio,
because of the limited opportunities for television. She was eventually able to
find work for an entire year as a production assistant for WKEF/WRGT. Later,
she would occasionally report and anchor. She was the weekend anchor at WCPO TV
in Cincinnati, and the anchor for weekdays at WCPO TV in Cincinnati from 2002
to 2005. Her contract was terminated and she was hired as a reporter and anchor
for NBC affiliate WMAQ-TV, Chicago, from November 2005 through December 2011.
In December 2011 she was appointed by ABC News which is the division for news
of ABC. The 2nd of January, 2012, she made her debut on ABC's World News Now
and America This Morning. She was also on Good Morning America's fill-in
programme, Good Morning America, starting on January 2, 2012. Then she was
promoted to a reporter based in New York for all ABC News programs. The program
was not able for her to get to the last show of World News Now or America This
Morning. It was on January 22 2013. She made her debut on Good Morning America
Weekend as co-anchor on August 9, 2014. This was after Bianna Golodryga shifted
to Yahoo! News. ABC announced that she would be joining The View as a cohost
for season 19. On August 3 in 2016, it was announced that they renewed her
contract for the 20th season. Season 21 also got renewed with her co-hosting
duties. Her most popular appearance was during the 22nd and 21st seasons on the
series.
