California in 1970. Shortly after the birth of her daughter, her parents
relocated to Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High
School, Performing and Visual Arts, located within the Arts District. She later
earned a BFA diploma from Stephens College in acting and was also a student at
British American Drama Academy. She also spent six years with the Dallas
Theatre Center, and one year with Encore Company. Before her debut on the big
screen, she began her acting career at the theater. Her stage credits in

was Happening on the Way to the Forum", "Measure for Measure",
"Baby" and "Chicago", among many more. She was an
outstanding performer in Michael Cristofer's HBO television series Gia (1998)
in which she starred alongside Angelina Jolie. This performance made her a
favorite of viewers and critics alike. After that, she starred in the sci-fi
time travel adventure Frequency (2000) featuring Dennis Quaid and Neil LaBute's
eagerly anticipated Nurse Betty (2000) opposite Renee Zellweger, Elizabeth
showed her charismatic acting skills. Elizabeth Mitchell is an actor who has a
long list of credits, including films, TV shows and theatres. The actress broke
her nose during the filming of the film Frequency (2000). Hertz Rent-A-Car ad

Smith was her boyfriend in 1995. Parents are tax and real estate attorneys with
their own firm about five blocks from their home in Dallas. After playing the
role of Rosalind in "As You Like It" for a number of years, Rosalind
returned to the U.S. Her parents relocated to Dallas, Texas shortly after she
was born in LA in the year 1970. In 1991, she graduated from Booker T.
Washington High School, Performing and Visual Arts, located within the Arts
District of Dallas. In 1991 she graduated from Stephens College with a Fine
Arts degree. Starred in Man and Boy (2002) along with Ioan Gruffudd. The show
was broadcast on BBC 1 TV in March 2002.
